Job Description

Oxford Forge is looking for specialized individuals who are eager to have a hands on experience and have a learning attitude. This position is mainly looking for individuals who can work off shifts. (2nd Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM and 3rd Shift (11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM). The starting wage for Manufacturing Technician (In Training) is $21.96 plus a shift premium for off shifts.

Required Skills and Education

• Operating presses that forge steel automatic or manual
• Driving Forklifts
• Sorting of parts
• Checking Quality on all products
• Ensuring a safe work environment
• This position requires frequent standing bending walking lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and carrying. It also requires occasional driving of a hi-lo.
• Required to be able to perform work on ladders and platforms. Must have good balance and physical agility.
• Must be able to work for prolonged durations for equipment repairs and job changeovers.
• Working environment is a manufacturing facility with heavy equipment / machinery. Thus requires exposure to high / low temperatures and loud noises.
• Mental demands include problem solving decision making and occasional supervision.
