About The Position We are seeking an experienced CRNA specializing in anesthesiology for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts on Feb 9, 2026, featuring 8-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday, with weekend and PM call coverage, and emergent cases on Fridays. Candidates must have strong OB experience, including VBAC / TOLAC and proficiency in a variety of anesthesia procedures. Job Details Location : California Start Date : Feb 9, 2026 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : CRNA Schedule : 8-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (7 : 00am-3 : 30pm), weekend call (7am-7am), PM call (3 : 30pm-7am), Friday emergent cases only (c-sections and possibly other cases) Responsibilities and Duties Administer anesthesia for pediatric and ENT cases Provide anesthesia care for obstetric patients, including VBAC / TOLAC Perform special procedures such as tap blocks, epidurals, spinal and peripheral blocks Manage emergent anesthesia cases on Fridays, including c-sections Work both supervised (with 1 MD on site) and unsupervised as needed Deliver high-quality anesthesia services in elective and emergent settings Additional Information Minimum of 1 year experience required NBCRNA certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Must be licensed in Minnesota Required board certification : Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Strong OB anesthesia background required VBAC / TOLAC and epidural / TAP block experience required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
