Commercial Loan Officer - Springfield, Missouri (Community Bank)

Are you an experienced commercial lender who thrives on building strong business relationships and structuring creative credit solutions? A well-capitalized, community-focused bank in the Springfield, MO area is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to drive local business development and portfolio growth.

This is a relationship-first role-not a cold-calling numbers game. You’ll work directly with business owners throughout Springfield, Greene County, and the surrounding Ozarks communities , helping them access the financing they need to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage a high-quality portfolio of commercial loans
• Identify new business opportunities through relationship-driven calling and community involvement
• Analyze credit and financial statements to structure sound, competitive loan packages
• Maintain portfolio profitability, credit quality, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with credit analysts, loan assistants, and senior management to deliver top-tier service
