Senior Estimator

We are a well-established construction company specializing in multi-family and large-scale exterior projects, seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team. Position Overview : The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, organizing and submitting proposals, sourcing material and labor pricing, and preparing essential pre-construction documents for our field teams. The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication and follow-up skills. Key Responsibilities : Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists Solicit and gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Develop and complete proposals, estimates, and spreadsheets Prepare and organize pre-construction packages for field teams Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients, products, and services Qualifications and Skills : Experience reading and interpreting construction documents Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs Team-oriented and collaborative work style Preferred Experience : Familiarity with rendering or drafting software (e.g., CAD, Chief Architect) Experience using Revu Bluebeam Benefits : Competitive wages Paid holidays and PTO Health and retirement benefits Performance-based incentives Potential for a company vehicle If you are organized, motivated, and ready to be part of a growing team, we encourage you to apply!
