DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Family Birth Unit is on the second floor of the patient tower and includes :

• One triage room
• 5 spacious Labor and Delivery suites
• Two with labor tubs
• One OR
• Newborn Nursery

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high quality, direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process to care for mothers and their newborns.
