SUMMARY
The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, skilled, and reliable Program Coordinator, Sr., to join our leadership team and oversee workforce scheduling operations and partner with our data office to coordinate data management efforts. This role is of utmost importance as it directly supports our clinical faculty, ensuring the day-to-day accuracy of scheduling platforms and data validation processes used to track clinical effort, KPIs, and support compensation workflows.
The person in this position will take full responsibility for managing QGenda and Total Professional Effort (TPE) updates, thereby relieving faculty of a significant administrative burden. The role also includes partnering with internal teams and external partners, with a particular focus on supporting accurate data reporting and monthly invoices with the VA Medical Center. The role will also require participation in other departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor’s Degree In Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education / Social Science, or related field
7 years Experience in appropriate field and
May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.
Preferred
Previous experience in project management or consulting, especially in settings such as healthcare, academic medicine, or operational strategy.
Familiarity with scheduling systems such as QGenda or similar workforce platforms. In lieu of no experience with QGenda, the candidate would need to be comfortable to quickly learn a new system.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with faculty, leadership, and external partners.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
Willingness and ability to travel locally to regional sites across DFW at least once per month.
Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) strongly preferred.
