Pay Range : $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 a year.

By adhering to Connecticut State Law, pay ranges are posted. The pay rate will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge of position and comparison to others who are already in this role within the company.

COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine Considerations

Masks are optional for employees, visitors, patients, vendors, etc. All employees are strongly encouraged and recommended to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination routinely. Proof of annual flu vaccination is required for all employees.

PACT MSO has a new Rheumatology office that is seeking a Supervisor. The hours will be Monday through Thursday 8 : 00am to 6 : 30pm. This position requires traveling between Orange and Hamden and will follow the provider to each location.

Summary

The Supervisor provides leadership and operational oversight to the staff. They work collaboratively with other departments and divisions, plan, organize, and trouble shoots issues. Resolves complex issues, timecards, schedules, and address discipline and performance issues.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage employees in the department.
  • Resolve complex issues that relate to patient, operations, and work flow.
  • Resolves continued issues by creating and developing processes that adapt to changes
  • Train employees in the department including coaching, and addressing any performance or discipline issues
  • Complete yearly performance reviews
  • Maintain training materials and process / procedures
  • Review and approve timecards, while managing time off and work schedules
  • Respond to patient issues, physician directives, and operational needs
  • Works with manager on department and divisional initiatives

Skills and Knowledge

  • Full understanding of department work flow, systems, and procedures
  • Communicates directly and clearly
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computers
  • Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in the department or similar department
