Position Information Job Type Non-Faculty Position Title AYCGL Program Coordinator Position Number E Department Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership Location Morehouse College - Atlanta, GA Position Summary The Program Coordinator for the AYCGL will provide leadership and support in 5 key areas : 1) Implementation of AYCGL educational events, including on-campus lectures, symposia, and conference, off-campus programs and meetings, and AYCGL study tours, 2) Manage logistical aspects of AYCGL study abroad programs, 3) Build and maintain external partnerships, serve as a liaison with partner organizations, and provide oversight to manage service and internship opportunities for students engaged in AYCGL programs, 4) Prepare grant proposals and progress reports in collaboration with AYCGL directors; and 5) Manage AYCGL budgets. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-4 years in related administrative and / or program coordinator experience, or a combination of education and experience; previous work experience in higher education preferred.
- Experience with social media platforms preferred but not required.

Getting to on-campus meetings and other offices on campus to conduct and manage program business.Attending off-campus meetings with external partners to manage internship and service assignments.Travel may be required to manage the logistics and on-site management related to student and faculty travel to conferences, meetings, and off-campus retreats, and other events.Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary is required.Essential Duties / Responsibilities Essential Duties / Responsiblities General
Collaborate with directors to plan and implement AYCGL programming activities, including, but not limited to AYCGL programs and special events, including the lectures, conferences and symposia, field trips, off-campus retreats, and meetings.
