Line Cook – Jeffrey’s Grocery (West Village, NYC)

Pay :  $19–$23 / hour (based on experience)

Schedule :  Full-time, ~8am–5pm, five days per week

Must be available for Saturday & Sunday brunch

About Us

Jeffrey’s Grocery is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of the West Village, an oyster bar and all-day café known for good food, good people, and genuine hospitality.  We’re part of the Happy Cooking Hospitality family (along with Joseph Leonard, Fairfax, Sailor) and we care deeply about our team and our guests.

The Role

We’re looking for a  Line Cook  to join our daytime kitchen team. You’ll work the hot line (burgers, fries, sauté) and salads, keeping things clean, organized, and consistent. Oyster-shucking skills are a plus but not required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience cooking in a busy kitchen
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a great attitude
  • Comfort on both hot and cold stations
  • Available for weekend brunch

    Buscamos un  Cocinero de Línea  para unirse a nuestro equipo de cocina diurna. Trabajarás en la línea caliente (hamburguesas, papas fritas, salteados) y en la estación de ensaladas, manteniendo la limpieza, organización y consistencia. Saber abrir ostras es una ventaja, pero no es necesario.
