CNC Lathe Programmer

Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday 6 : 30am-3 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $25 / hr

Location : Dayton, Ohio 45414

Experience : 3+ Years

The company supports initial development, manufacturing, project management, tooling, and components for the aerospace / defense, automotive, container (PET), medical, and electronics industries. Job Responsibilities :

  • Programs and produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Sets up lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.

Skills Required :

  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator / Programmer.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
