ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Nest parts for lasers, waterjets, and other sheet / plate processing equipment
- Communicate material / inventory discrepancies
- Use ERP for inventory purposes
- Maintain necessary clerical records pertinent to the function
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate and work well with other departments and team members regarding accurate and timely completion of projects
- Identify problems, develop alternative solutions and gather / present information toward implementing alternative actions
- Demonstrate initiative and willingness to undertake increased responsibility
- Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects
- Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to feedback
- Other job duties as assigned per the needs of production
- Encourages company initiatives like safety, LEAN manufacturing practices, and 6S.
- Have a flexible work schedule and work overtime as needed
