Alumi-Cover is currently looking for a Quality Control Inventory Lead to join our team at our Mesa, AZ location.

The Quality Control / Inventory Lead will thoroughly understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes to ensure our deliveries provide outstanding customer service and consistent execution. The Quality Control / Inventory Lead will visually check, count, measure, verify and document all outgoing products to identify, prevent and correct defects / mis-ships. In conjunction with the Operations Coordinator, will monitor daily customer job completion and stock supply levels to anticipate customer order problems and stock inventory shortages. The Quality Control / Inventory Lead will collaborate with the Operations Coordinator and General Manager to improve inventory control procedures and analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. The Quality Control / Inventory Lead will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of the equipment and facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing administrative tasks required within the daily activities of the Quality Control / Inventory Lead role
• Visually check, count, measure, verify and document all outgoing products to identify, prevent and correct defects / mis-ships
• Accurately complete shipping paperwork and provide completed documents to the sales team to complete the “ship-doc” process and prepare and maintain a daily dispatch schedule for each delivery route in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator
• Work closely with Operations Coordinator and Production Leads to ensure customer orders are completed for shipping
• Work closely with Operations Coordinator to ensure adequate stock levels
• Oversee incoming shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of incoming shipments to include proper storage, handling and space allocation of materials
• Accurately complete receiving paperwork and provide completed documents to General Manager
• Collaborate with Operations Coordinator and General Manager to ensure inventory integrity (raw, finished goods, returned product, productions errors, damaged, damaged / claims awaiting disposition, etc.)
• Collaborate with General Manager to perform the required weekly / quarterly cycle counts
• Back-up for inside sales support as / when needed
• Ensure the housekeeping and cleanliness of the equipment and facility is always “tour” ready, creating a safe work environment
• All other duties as assigned by Management
