Personal Time Off : Accrue paid time off for every hour worked Paid Holidays : 6 Paid holidays : Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day and Memorial Day. Material Reimbursement : Reimbursement of $250.00 for any supplies purchased for your classroom Professional Development : We offer a reimbursement of $500.00 towards professional development this can include : CEU’s, licensing fees, etc Medical, dental, and vision are offered Continued insurance coverage over the summer is optional for the employee. A 4% 401(k) match to help you plan for the future.
We are looking for a talented part-time Occupational Therapist for the school year to work 8 hours per week.
Hourly Rate Range : $49.00-$56.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include :
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans to support student independence and learning.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment.
- Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) regulations and IDEA guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence.
