Registered Nurse - Oncology

A company is looking for a Medical Oncology Nurse responsible for patient advocacy and managing oncology requests.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and present clinical information to facilitate medical decisions on therapy requests

Review medical necessity requests and collaborate with the Medical Director for clinical decision-making

Maintain accurate records and manage projects to improve quality of care and workflow efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure recognized in the United States

Minimum 2 years of experience in direct patient care or relevant educational attainment required

Oncology Nursing experience preferred

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, LCD, NCD, and Insurance guidelines
