Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital – General Surgery Operating Room\n

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026)\n

Shift : Day Shift – 4x10 Hour Shifts (6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm)\n

Hours per Week : 40\n

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630-$1750\n

On-Call : 1-2 call days per week (starting at 5pm); one call weekend every 5 weeks (Saturday 7am to Monday 7am)\n

Floating : May float between similar units or sister facilities\n

Scrubs : Hospital-issued\n

Parking : Free parking pass for downtown lots and garages\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience\n

Active South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license (or proof of application)\n

BLS certification required\n

Radiation badge required (agency provided)\n

First-time travel nurses accepted\n

Experience with Epic charting system preferred\n

PALS certification preferred\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care for surgical patients in the operating room\n

Assist with general, orthopedic, gynecologic, neurological, and robotic surgeries\n

Administer medications and blood products as needed\n

Maintain accurate documentation and proper specimen handling / labeling\n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy)\n

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency surgical cases\n

Float to similar units to support hospital operations\n

Follow hospital protocols including universal time-out procedures and laser safety\n
