As an Environmental Compliance Program Manager for the Americas, you will be managing the full spectrum of regulatory environmental requirements, including Federal, State, and local regulations with emphasis on air, water, waste management and water quality permitting, with a fundamental understanding of environmental management systems. Additionally, you will identify environmental aspects and ensure Microsoft data centers remain in full compliance, communicate these requirements to all stakeholders and management, and provide training online and / or in person.
This opportunity will allow you to actively participate in a dynamic and exciting environment. You will be working independently in-region and will represent Microsoft to our external and internal customers. You will have an opportunity to continue learning new tools, work with other Environmental PMs across the globe, third-party environmental consultants, and as such will grow and develop your career well beyond your established goals. This position requires you to work on location, in one of our data centers in the Americas region, with occasional travel to other locations.
Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As an Environmental Compliance Program Manager , you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Environmental Health & Safety IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
