Senior Recruiter
The purpose of this position is to drive and support the organization's talent acquisition needs by leveraging current market intelligence and innovative recruitment strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates. This role will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and colleagues throughout the recruitment process, with a particular focus on sourcing and hiring for information technology (IT) and other specialized roles. The Senior Recruiter will provide expert guidance on IT talent trends, competitive market insights, and effective strategies to build strong, high-performing teams across the organization.
Essential job functions include managing the full life cycle recruitment process of qualified candidates for assigned requisitions, strategizing with hiring managers on hiring and staffing methods, negotiating compensation and other relevant employment details with candidates and hiring managers, managing applicants, positions, and reports through the use of an applicant tracking system and other reporting tools, screening employment applications / resumes and conducting initial interviews, coordinating interviews for qualified candidates with appropriate hiring managers, building and maintaining relationships with both passive and active candidates, particularly within the IT talent community, conducting industry, market, and technical skill research to identify and attract qualified candidates for clinical, non-clinical, corporate, and IT positions, advising hiring managers on effective use of social networking to engage passive candidates and promote employer brand within the IT community.
Other job functions include attending staff meetings or other company-sponsored or mandated meetings as required, traveling as required, performing additional duties as assigned, and ability to work off-hours when required.
Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of full-cycle IT recruiting experience required, sourcing experience through multiple platforms, previous experience with applicant tracking systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.
