RN School 2.1- Elementary Level

School Registered Nurse (RN)

RN needed for 2 : 1 case with students. RN will have to ride the bus to and from one of the special needs schools with Clarke County. Instruction and classroom support will be provided at school. RN will be for clinical oversight of 2 trach students, no ventilators.

The School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment. This role ensures that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare.

Minimum Requirements :

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
• One year of school nursing experience, preferred
• Pediatric experience, preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
