Manual Lathe Operator

Pridestaff is currently seeking an experienced  Manual Lathe Operator in Riverside, CA; the  worker will fabricate, build, and install various types of metal structures. This is a full-time, contract-to-permanent position with an opportunity to grow. Sheet Metal Worker in Riverside, CA;  worker will fabricate, build, and install various types of metal structures. This is a full-time, contract-to-permanent position with an opportunity to grow. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.

Pay rate : $ $20-$25 p / hr depending on experience

Shift hours :  Monday-Friday, 6 am to 2 : 30 pm no overtime

Job requirements :

Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers

Familiar with the use of a manual kick press, arbor press and hydraulic press.

Knows hand tools such as calipers, dials, micrometers.

Able to read blueprints, use a microscope

Cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions.

Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces.

Must be able to read and speak English.

At least 1 year of recent experience

Able to operate a manual Lathe, with detailed attention (mainly used for swaging) experience a PLUS!
