Travel Ambulatory RN (Surgical Ambulatory Care) – Syracuse, NY

A healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment.

Assignment Details : Start Date :  12 / 5

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days, 5x8s

Requirements :

Current New York State RN license

Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)

ACLS, NNLS and EFM, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, BLS

Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Experience :

Prior experience : Telemetry, Triage, and Ambulatory / Primary Care

Ambulatory EPIC access experience

Knowledge of medical coding and insurance review

Role Overview :

The Ambulatory RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide direct patient care within an ophthalmology clinic setting. The nurse must demonstrate sound clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
