JOB GOAL :
To support classroom teachers in improving instruction by increasing rigor consistency student engagement differentiation of instruction and utilization of performance assessments. Provide a stable resource for professional development progress monitoring and student data analysis to help the schools improve instruction and student achievement across all groups in the assigned subject area.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Salary based on a teachers 9.5-Month Teaching Contract month contract (195 days) plus benefits package. NOTE : Precise placement on the salary range will be determined based upon experience and education.
FLSA : EXEMPT This position is reviewed annually and is contingent upon grant funding and / or the needs identified within the school site.

Mental Functions Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk go up and down stairs operate foot and hand controls use a telephone and write. Occasionally the employee must lift and / or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound near and far vision depth perception handling and working with educational materials and / or objects and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period and to be physically present and at assigned work with only infrequent unexcused absences during the contract year. Additional technical skills knowledge and abilities may be recommended by immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Describes physical conditions of this position) :
Sedentary Work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift carry push pull or move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Light Work Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. If the use of arm and / or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time the job is rated as Light Work.
Medium Work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Heavy Work Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
