Aircraft Teardown Mechanic

STS Technical Services is seeking an Aircraft Teardown Mechanic to join our team in Cedar Hill, Texas. If you have experience in mechanical assembly and are ready to play a critical role in the aircraft repair process, this opportunity is for you. Job Overview As an Aircraft Teardown Mechanic, you will focus on component part removal to assist in the repair process by exposing potential hidden damage. You will also have the opportunity to engage in tasks related to component repair, assembly, and structural work. Key Responsibilities Perform teardown of various assemblies using hand tools. Assist with component repair and assembly processes. Read and interpret basic blueprints to guide teardown activities. Use close-tolerance measuring tools such as scales, micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges. Qualifications Experience with mechanical assembly in an aircraft, automotive, or similar environment is preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods. Proficiency in using hand tools for prolonged periods. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. Why Join STS Technical Services?
