Abacus Plumbing Air Conditioning & Electrical is currently seeking Electricians to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Electricians manage the completion of various electrical tasks such as electrical break & repair, troubleshooting / maintenance, and service upgrades while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will provide general electrical repair and services with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes.

The Electrical Service Technician will perform all duties of customer interaction, sales, and installation for the company pertaining to Abacus' high-end residential electrical services.

Do I Have What It Takes?

  • Perform residential electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting with attention to detail and code compliance
  • Read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, and conduct quality control testing
  • Install electrical systems in both new and existing residential settings
  • Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and upgrades; document work with photos
  • Educate customers on available upgrades and services; overcome objections professionally
  • Maintain a clean uniform, well-groomed appearance, and organized work area
  • Safely work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights using ladders or roof access
  • Lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds without assistance
  • Use ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting
  • Hold a valid Texas Driver's License and a Wireman or Journeyman license registered in Texas

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in residential settings with precision and efficiency
  • Perform work that meets or exceeds National Electrical Code standards, including remodel wiring and panel / meter box replacements
  • Read and interpret electrical plans to execute projects accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Estimate and invoice repairs and upgrades accurately; document work with before-and-after photos
  • Educate homeowners on product quality and available upgrades; overcome objections professionally
  • Demonstrate safe working practices and maintain compliance with safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Be available for long hours, including some weekends and on-call rotation
