Senior HVAC Service Technician

Job Type : Full-time

Our client is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing customer-focused team. Youll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including hot water systems DX systems chillers and more across a diverse territory.

This role balances technical expertise with hands-on service and its ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while supporting a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose repair and maintain HVAC systems including hot water DX chillers cooling towers fan systems VFDs and low voltage controls
  • Conduct equipment inspections start-ups commissioning and preventative maintenance
  • Provide technical training and support to clients and team members
  • Identify opportunities for new services and solutions
  • Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo Burlington Grinnell eastern Iowa western Illinois Missouri to Minnesota)
  • Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems

What You Bring

  • 5 years of HVAC experience preferably in industrial or commercial settings
  • Expertise in VRV / VRF systems Daikin equipment and refrigeration service
  • HVAC license and EPA certification
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication
  • Valid drivers license
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • Physical capability to lift 75 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces
