About you and this role

We are seeking our next Hardware Discipline Vessel Designer in Plaquemine, LA . In this role, you provide specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations and maintenance. You will understand and implement Most Effective Technology (MET), work process, tools and industry best practices within their discipline. Hardware Disciplines support both projects and technical support teams as an Inspector, Designer on large projects or Lead for their discipline on projects. This role requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and / or specialized technical expertise within an analytical / scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. You may act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others.

Responsibilities

• Support our plant and inspection teams by understanding the fabrication processes and developing work scopes to provide effective and reliable repairs and alterations to new and existing pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks allowing our plants to run reliability and efficiently.
