Ebco is a global leader in engineered rubber products, serving top-tier OEMs in automotive, industrial machinery, heavy equipment, and beyond. With 50+ years of expertise and facilities worldwide, we help major manufacturers solve critical vibration, sealing, and hose challenges with custom-engineered solutions. We’re expanding our U.S. sales team and are seeking a driven Sales Engineer to join our Elgin, IL headquarters.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you’ll be the link between OEM clients and Ebco’s engineering expertise. You’ll manage existing accounts, hunt for new opportunities, and collaborate with our engineering and manufacturing teams to help customers bring better products to market faster.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and grow relationships with OEM customers and prospects across your territory.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to RFQ, PPAP, ECR, quoting, and closing.
  • Partner with engineers and decision-makers to develop custom technical solutions.
  • Represent Ebco at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
  • Provide market feedback to guide product development and strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in technical B2B sales or key account management (OEM experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with RFQ, PPAP, ECR, JIT, and manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and communicate technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50%.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
