Mechanical Prototype Technician

As a Mechanical Prototype Technician, you will play a crucial role in developing prototypes for new surgical products that aim to improve patient outcomes and streamline physician workflows. Responsibilities

  • Develop working prototypes for new medical products.
  • Collect and analyze data from testing and materials.
  • Conduct testing protocols and meticulously document results.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in mechanical testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in research and development mechanical assembly.
  • Knowledge of small electromechanical devices and medical devices.
  • Familiarity with GDP, soldering, and tensile testing.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly.
  • 1+ year of experience in the medical device field is preferred.
  • An associate degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Work Environment

    Work in a startup environment located in Louisville, easily accessible from northern Colorado and the Denver Metro areas. You will have access to both R&D lab space and manufacturing facilities for product development. The company is focused on minimally invasive surgical applications and is driven by a leadership team with over two decades of experience in the medical device industry.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Colorado.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00 / hr.
