NOTE : This opportunity is only available to individuals who attend an affiliated institution to Innovative Hematology, Inc. and have confirmed a specific staff member at IHI to serve as their preceptor.
What is an observership?
As a nationally and internationally recognized hemophilia treatment center, the organization actively supports training for professional colleagues working in related settings and observerships for students considering a career as a physician. We acknowledge that in providing training and observership experiences we must ensure a safe and confidential environment for patients, staff and invitees.

To be eligible for an observership, you must meet one of the following requirements :
What is the timeline for applying?
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; however a minimum of 4-6 weeks notice is required due to clinical schedules and departmental criteria.
What is the length of an observership?
College students may observe for 1-2 days as determined by the organization's ability to meet the needs of the student. Residents and fellows are generally allowed 2-4 weeks but may vary based on the objectives and availability of the department.
