EdPlus at ASU is a dynamic unit of Arizona State University focused on the design and scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models to increase student success and reduce barriers to achievement in higher education. We advance the economic, social, cultural, and overall health of the local, national, and international communities served by ASU.
We are seeking an experienced and nimble Instructional Designer to join our growing Innovation and Emerging Technologies team. ASU has partnered with the United States military to reimagine their learning ecosystem and to encourage and promote lifelong learning during a service member's time in and out of the uniform. Every day you'll make a difference in the lives of others by collaborating closely with faculty, instructors, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to design and develop engaging, learner-centered experiences. You'll apply proven instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories to co-create content and experiences that resonate with learners across the globe and lifespan— all while optimizing workflows and processes to support scalable, efficient development
While a deep knowledge of the U.S. military is not necessary to be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about innovation, design thinking, prototyping, access to education, and who loves working on complex, innovative, high-visibility projects that push the status quo.

Essential Duties :
NOTE : This is not a fully remote position. Must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment / field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and / or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Salary & Benefits :
$51,500 - $75,000 per year, DOE
