CEI Senior Inspector

CEI Senior Inspector Position Overview KEITH is seeking a CEI Senior Inspector to join our team.

This role involves performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.

The CEI Senior Inspector will also be responsible for coordinating and managing lower-level inspectors.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Engineer / Administrator.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed inspections of bridge and roadway construction projects (excluding Complex Category 2 (CC2) bridge structures).
• Perform field surveying and construction layout tasks, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable regulations.
• Perform and verify engineering computations and field tests related to construction materials and quality control.
• Manage, coordinate, and provide guidance to lower-level inspectors.
• Ensure that all work aligns with FDOT standards and project requirements.
• Document inspection findings and prepare reports for project oversight.
