What you might work on :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior level QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for leading quality assurance practices within our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in manual and automated testing, a strong ability to collaborate across teams, and a passion for mentoring others to elevate the overall quality mindset of our engineering team. You will partner with stakeholders across technology and various departments to perform the following :

  • Design, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, with a preference for Robot Framework.
  • Perform manual testing as necessary
  • Support business stakeholders with test planning and execution of User Acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Act as a key liaison between engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure quality at all stages of development.
  • Provide guidance and training to engineers to embed QA practices into their workflows.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Evaluate and improve non-production environments to enhance testing quality and reliability.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline testing efforts and improve delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with others through roadmap and sprint planning for estimation and prioritization

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or comparable work experience)
  • 5+ years of hands-on automated software testing experience
  • 4+ years programming language like Python, JavaScript, or C#
  • Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools
  • Strong experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Robot Framework
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach team members
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development and the ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Experience defining test data requirements against large data sets leading to e2e testing execution on enterprise scale data platforms
  • Strong knowledge of SQL to understand data relationships and solve data related issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Detail oriented with a proven ability to self-motivate and follow-through on tasks
  • Strong problem solving, analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Preferred Competencies :

  • Financial services industry experience is a plus
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts
  • Experience working with large data sets, processes and structures for reporting and analytics
