Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist

NOW HIRING! Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have background with insurance verification or medical billing.

Our billing team is a vital part our organization and we are looking for a reliable and professional candidate that is looking for longevity with a growing company.

This is an in-person position.

Monday- Friday 8am-4 : 30 pm or 8 : 30am-5pm.

Duties included but not limited to : Patient and AR collections Answer insurance / patient correspondence for claims resolutions Following up with payers to resolve unpaid or denied insurance claims Identify trends and solutions to problem payers File appeals with follow up Billing Office assistant Electronic and Paper claim submission Field inbound patient calls and be able to address their billing issues Skills : Must work well with an office team and in a busy, fast-paced setting, must be able to multi-task and proactively problem solve Reliability and strong work ethic Medical Terminology : 1 year (Preferred) Customer Service : 1 year (Preferred) Benefits : Health, Dental, Vision plans HSA eligible plan HSA Paid Time Off Paid Vacation 401K Life, STD, LTD and other voluntary plans
