Role description :

The role involves working across various aspects of architecture ranging from schematic design to construction administration. It requires technical expertise critical thinking creativity and the ability to prioritize parallel projects while collaborating with clients and team members effectively.

• Individuals will work on various phases of design and documentation from space planning to the development of architectural details and material finishes with an emphasis on schematic design construction documents shop drawings reviews and construction administration
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the clients concept architectural design process and how to effectively advance the concept through communication ideation research drawings and execution
• Review client concepts to ensure code accessibility and functional requirements are met
• Coordinate architectural design with structural MEP fire protection lighting and glass façade consultants
• Coordinate architectural design with landlords design teams
• Prepare permit submission packages under the direction of the project architect
• Produce drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards
• Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing and submittal reviews and response to RFIs under the guidance of project architect
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Organize and manage assigned tasks but understand when to ask questions
