The Contractor Program Security Officer 2, is an intermediate security professional who performs the duties as the CPSO and / or the Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO). The individual will work under the direction of the Team Lead. The CPSO / CSSO works closely with Government / customer Security Offices to ensure all security obligations are met. This role performs all aspects of on-site execution of program security requirements for assigned Special Access Programs (SAP) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, interpreting, and applying all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD Manual 5205.07, DoD Manual 5105.21-M-1, and the CFR 32 Part 117 (NISPOM Rule). In addition, the CPSO will monitor classified information systems and controlled areas, track personnel security processing, conduct self-inspections, oversee the implementation / completion of corrective action plans, and thoroughly investigate and document security violations / adverse information reports.

Education :
Associate's Degree in Security Management or related field, Bachelor's Degree in Security Management or related field preferred.
High School diploma with 4 to 6 years of comparable work experience; previously cleared candidate with a background in Industrial Security, Technology, Government, Business Administration or other related discipline.
Experience :
2-4 years of experience in a DoD, DoE, or other industrial security program.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Top secret clearance is required.
