About the Role

The Procurement Category Manager (Technology) is an integral part of Latham's Accounting and Finance team. This role will be responsible for working as a senior member of a team to procure goods and services on behalf of the organization within the guidelines and procedures established by the firm and the Global Procurement Department, as well as establishing and maintaining trusted internal stakeholder relationships. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include :

• Acting as the lead Procurement professional for the Technology category in a strategic and supportive manner to purchase required products and services
• Using a consultative approach and expertise to conduct strategic sourcing events, including collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations to various levels of management across the organization
• Partnering with the business in contract and price negotiations, including reviewing business terms, Service Level Agreements, Statements of Work, etc.
• Facilitating a collaborative approach to Category Management, including but not limited to category spend analytics, multi-year strategic sourcing roadmaps, and acquiring and educating the enterprise on markets, suppliers, and trends
• Working collaboratively with suppliers and Technology teams to enhance supplier value and innovation
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and / or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
