Senior Database Engineer

As a Senior Database Engineer at Zoom, you will be responsible for building, deploying and supporting the database layer for critical Zoom products like Zoom Phone, Contact Center. You will define and drive impactful projects in ZPZCX that will enable new product features, reduce costs, improve database performance, increase reliability and improve security.

This will streamline our development and deployment processes, and maintain the reliability, availability, and security of our services.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring data integrity and availability by overseeing database storage, access, and security.
• Taking part in staging and production deployments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring capacity.
• Documenting and maintaining installation procedures, issue resolutions, environment configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensuring installation, maintenance and monitoring of production database infrastructure.

What we're looking for

Salary Range or On Target Earnings : Minimum : $124,000.00 Maximum : $271,200.00 In addition to the base salary and / or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note : Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
