Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Software Developer will build cutting-edge IoT applications that seamlessly integrate physical devices with cloud-based systems

  • Develop real-time solutions that drive automation and unlock data-driven insights
  • Leverage state-of-the-art technologies and enterprise-grade integration software to push technological boundaries
  • Design, code, document, and rigorously test new and existing applications
  • Play a pivotal role in elevating our team's technical capabilities and driving innovation
  • Design and build IoT solutions, including hardware, firmware, and application software.
  • Integrate IoT devices and sensors into connected ecosystems.
  • Develop and manage cloud-based IoT platforms for data processing and analytics.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and data integrity issues in IoT systems.
  • Collaborate with teams across software engineering, DevOps, and hardware development.
  • Ensure IoT deployments adhere to security, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging IoT technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications) :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field of study
  • Experience with Sensors and IoT such as Telematics, Computer Vision, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and / or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use in an agile environment.
  • 4+ years’ experience implementing AWS technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, route53, Dynamo DB, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Design Patterns
  • Experience with language : C# (.NET core), Python, JavaScript, TypeScript,
  • Experience with a real-time messaging platform, like Solace, Kafka
  • Knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines / DevOps and version control tools like Git / Harness
  • Experience with Cloud Automation Development Tool such as Git, Python / Bash / PowerShell Scripting
  • Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented systems design and Application Development
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Hands-on development and proficient excellence in backend API development using Java and Python (nice to have)
  • AWS certifications

  • Airline industry knowledge

    The base pay range for this role is $109, to $149,

    The base salary range / hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and / or long-term incentive compensation awards.
