Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid packages.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and assist in value engineering efforts.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Timberline, Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
