We’re currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Billing Assistant & Lead Caregiver, a unique dual-role position supporting both our office operations and our field caregiving team.

Position Overview

This full-time position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others.

You will assist with billing-related tasks and help fill client shifts as needed in the Omaha Metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing Assistant Duties :
  • Support the billing department in processing claims and invoices
  • Verify and reconcile clock in and out and visit logs for accuracy
  • Assist with Medicaid and private pay billing
  • Help monitor authorizations and service hours
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and caregiver record relating to billing and authorizations
  • Communicate with caregivers and case managers as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the billing and office team
  • Lead Caregiver Duties :
  • Provide occasional fill-in care for clients when needed
  • Clock in / out for all shifts and complete all assigned tasks
  • Help caregivers with questions when they call in or come into the office
  • Report concerns or client changes to the office in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Prior caregiving experience (home care or facility-based) required
  • Office or administrative experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of billing practices a plus (Medicaid, LTCI, private pay)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic systems (training provided)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
