Scientific Programmer - Environmental Health
To support ICF’s dynamic growth and expanding client base, we are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMMER to work in our Health Science Portfolio. This group of 100+ science professionals provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, computational methods, environmental modeling, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.
The Scientific Programmer's project work would support federal agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches and new approach methods (NAMs) and providing support services to meet these goals.
