An Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse is needed to help us in our endeavor to build the healthiest community in the nation ... one person at a time.

This position will be based at the new and innovative acute care behavioral health facility, which opened in late 2023. SummitStone has the privilege of partnering closely with Larimer County on this venture. This voter-approved facility provides licensed, equitable and culturally relevant care and treatment to individuals in crisis with mental health and / or substance use disorders. What You'll Do :

An Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care for adolescents 12-17 with mental health disorders, emotional challenges, or behavioral issues. In our Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit the RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support young patients in managing conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, patients in crisis, schizophrenia, substance use, or trauma related disorders.

The registered nurse working in the Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit will provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to adolescents experiencing mental health challenges, behavioral issues, or substance use concerns. This role involves working closely with young patients, their families, and healthcare teams to promote emotional well-being, manage mental health conditions, and support recovery.

An Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse delivers dedicated nursing care to adolescents navigating mental health challenges, substance use issues or behavioral crises, with a strong emphasis on supporting recovery during crisis. This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare teams and families to stabilize patients and guide them toward long-term well-being.

Total Rewards

The typical hiring range for this position is $35 to $42 per hour, based on relevant years of experience.

Employees working at locations operating 24 / 7 earn a differential. Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
