Civil Engineer WaterWastewater

RESPEC seeks an experienced Civil Engineer located in our Juneau Fairbanks Anchorage AK or Rapid City SD locations.

The Engineer will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers / EITs in preparing professional work products including water and wastewater utility design site grading stormwater management sediment and erosion control and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting. Additional responsibilities include :

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve our clients technical challenges
• Develop project designs plan drawings engineering reports technical specifications and other contract deliverables
• Track project progress within established project scopes budgets and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect them
• Support other market sectors on design projects as workload dictates
• Prepare clear and concise written communications and participate in client and team meetings
• Present design projects as required as part of outreach to clients and the public
• Conduct research and write technical portions of proposals to assist in bringing in new work
