Planned Parenthood of Florida is seeking either an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or a Physician Assistant (PA), to join our talented team as a full-time APRN / PA float. This position is based out of Sarasota with the expectation to cover Naples, Tampa, and Lakeland Health Centers. Snapshot of key accountabilities of the APRN or PA :

• Travel to assigned health centers, including Naples, Tampa, and Lakeland, to provide care as needed.
• Provide high-quality reproductive and sexual healthcare, including physical exams, patient counseling, contraception management, STI testing / treatment, and abortion-related services.
• Conduct medical assessments including breast and pelvic exams, Pap smears, and other screenings aligned with PPFL protocols.
• Ensure thorough documentation, compliance with medical standards, and support clinic productivity and flow.
• Collaborate with health center leadership and staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients on reproductive and sexual health topics, including GAHT, pregnancy options, sterilization post-care, and behavioral / primary health services.
• Refer patients for care beyond the clinician’s scope as needed and manage follow-up procedures.
• Participate in staff training and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
• May perform specialized services such as ultrasound, colposcopy, centralized follow-up, or on-call support, if appropriately credentialed and privileged.
