Responsibilities
Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of CareAdheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in both Infusion nursing services pharmacy services and state laws and regulationsAdheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice CDC guidelines scope and standards of practice and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses AssociationCollaborates with pharmacy staff sales partners ordering provider and patient to develop and monitor goals of patients therapiesCompletes patient care documentation in place of service including patients home or AISManages vascular access devices to include insertion of peripheral infusion devices and ability to draw labs via peripheral venipunctureEducates patients and caregiversEvaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients needsCoordinates nursing care with home health and other community agencies as indicatedParticipate in on-call rotation as scheduled per branch protocolComplete expense reports monthly tracking mileage and other miscellaneous incidental expensesComplete annual competencies and mandatory training within assigned due datesSupervisory Responsibility : NoQualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferredValid nursing license in state(s) of practiceMinimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered NursePrevious infusion and home health care experience preferredExtensive experience in IV therapy preferredCurrent CPR certificationFlexible schedule with the availability to work a variety of shift modelsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamEffective verbal and written communication skillsValid drivers license and auto insuranceMust meet company standards for driving record as well as driver age requirementPercentage of Travel : 100%-Regular driving to patients homes for visits is required as part of this positionTo perform this role will require constantly sitting standing walking bending reaching crouching stooping and typing on a keyboard with fingers. The physical requirements will be the ability to push / pull and lift / carry 10-30 lbsAbout our Line of Business
