Program Management Role
Leads moderately to significantly complex program management functions on assigned program elements and / or strategic business process es. Acts as primary point of contact for one or more program elements supporting specific weapon, product / service, or reimbursable programs. Represents Program Management function for assigned program elements to internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Evaluates, determines, and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex weapons program elements.
- Provides expertise to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to technical issues.
- Applies program management and financial standard to the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements; intervenes as necessary to ensure delivery to cost and schedule agreements.
- Provides primary support and guidance to the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, preparation, and release of technical / schedule information required for program / project planning.
- Defines and establishes production / project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with assigned program elements for a weapon or reimbursable program.
- Performs some technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more weapons and growth programs. May function as point of contact for one or more elements.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units and external customers.
- Guides and mentors Associate Program Managers and other program support staff.
You Must Have :
Bachelors Degree required.5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, business, or program management.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.United States Citizenship.Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).We Value :
