Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to patient. This role is essential in assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), implementing care plans, and supporting rehabilitation efforts for individuals of all ages, including geriatrics.

Duties

• Assist patients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapy services in various settings such as home health, inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing environments.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support patient rehabilitation effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using medical terminology.
• Conduct assessments and assist with medical imaging as required for patient evaluation.
• Engage with patients in therapeutic activities that enhance their physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients during therapy sessions.
