Project Coordinator - Structural Steel / Misc Steel

Number of Openings : 2

Title : Project Coordinator

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Pay : 60k-80k

We are a well-established Steel Erector and Fabricator based out of the Phoenix area, we are looking for multiple Project Coordinators to join our team and oversee some projects as well as the other Project Managers and Projects Coordinators. Projects range in size from $6-15 million.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will support the management of structural and miscellaneous steel projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project documentation, and facilitating communication between teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of structural steel projects
Coordinate between different teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
Manage project documentation and ensure all records are up to date
Utilize Tekla for project modeling and detailing tasks
Employ Procore for project management and communication
Monitor project progress and report on status to management
Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Proven experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably in the steel industry

Familiarity with Tekla software for project modeling

Experience using Procore or similar project management tools

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
