Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Developer with experience in AWS and AI to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions using Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless application functionality and data integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Proficiency in SQL and PL / SQL
Experience with Oracle database versions (e.g., Oracle 12c, 19c)
Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
Familiarity with database security principles and best practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is often required

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with AWS cloud services

Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts

Experience with Unix Shell Scripting or Python for automation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design logical data models and translate them into physical schema designs for Oracle databases

Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, indexes, sequences, and synonyms

Develop and optimize PL / SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers

Perform query tuning and database performance optimization

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices

Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders

Develop and maintain scripts for automation and data processing

Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, procedures, and processes
