• Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement training programs for student-athletes in your designated sport.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment.
• Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and sportsmanship.
• Organize and conduct practices, games, and team meetings.
• Collaborate with parents, faculty, and administration to promote the athletic program.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and competitions.
• Monitor academic performance and encourage student-athletes to excel in their studies.
• Qualifications :
• Previous coaching experience or a strong background in the sport you wish to coach.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Knowledge of rules, regulations, and best practices in high school athletics.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A commitment to fostering a positive and respectful team culture.

Shall successfully complete the following :

Fundamentals of Coaching or equivalent

Sports First Aid or Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries

Concussion in sports

Heat Illness Prevention

The Collapsed Athlete
