Job Description

Responsible for supporting and maintaining Epic applications within the health system. Tasks include optimizing the application, supporting vendor releases and system upgrades, fixing defects, providing technical and functional analysis, and ensuring data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, train staff, and document all processes related to Epic applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless customer service to IS clients across system boundaries.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and security of employee and patient data.
• Train and assist internal teams, physicians, and staff on Epic functionalities.
• Identify, document, and resolve system issues promptly.
• Gather and interpret build requirements from stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project schedules and handle multiple assignments.
• Communicate effectively about problems, issues, and solutions.
• Research new functionalities and releases to improve practice productivity.
• Develop understanding of Epic applications, interpret workflows, and design solutions.
• Maintain documentation and execute comprehensive testing.
• Participate in system upgrades and vendor releases.
• Collaborate on change control standards and monitor change processes.
• Work independently on complex projects and provide ongoing support.
